During the hot summer weather, what could be more refreshing than playing in water? The Room 9 toddlers did just that! They explored the water table and waded in the kiddie pool. While enjoying the cool water on their skin, the toddlers were exposed to concepts such as float or sink(conservation) and cause/effect(cognitive skills), as they scooped and poured the water with cups. They also developed motor skills which are also essential for their development as they played with the sea animals in the water.
